Work out your cost per outcome

Enter actual campaign costs and verified outcomes in USD. Use one reporting period and the same inquiry group throughout. Enter 0 for a cost or outcome that has not occurred.

Total campaign cost—
Media cost per inquiry—
Full cost per qualified inquiry—
Full cost per attended appointment—

Complete all six fields to calculate. Media cost uses advertising spend alone. Full cost includes all three expense fields. A cost per outcome is undefined when its outcome count is zero. Pending outcomes can change these figures; the worksheet reports the inputs provided and does not forecast future results.

Start with the scope behind the price

Real estate lead generation has no single price. A quote can cover a contact record, advertising management, or a wider process that includes creative, qualification, follow-up and scheduling. Compare the work included before comparing the headline amount.

Understand the commitment

Build the budget around your market, campaign objective and the capacity to respond. Record media spend and service fees separately, then connect the combined cost to the outcomes your CRM and calendar can verify.

If qualification is included in a proposal, confirm the inquiry review, follow-up and routing responsibilities. See Viremix’s lead qualification service for the work to discuss before agreeing scope.

A useful budget explains what you are paying for, who owns the work and how the outcome will be measured.

Five costs to confirm before you commit

The amount paid to the advertising platform. Confirm who owns the ad account, who authorizes changes and whether this budget is billed separately from the service fee.

Advertising spend

Campaign management

Planning, setup, campaign monitoring and agreed reporting. Confirm the campaign coverage, review process and responsibilities included in the engagement.

Creative and landing pages

Establish which advertisements, revisions and landing pages are included. Check whether photography, video, new page builds or additional production require a separate budget.

Qualification and follow-up

Define who reviews inquiries, which criteria they use and how continued contact is handled. Confirm the CRM, calendar and software charges included in the quote.

Setup and ongoing commitments

Separate initial implementation from recurring costs. Review the term, cancellation process, account access and the handover of campaign assets and lead records.

Compare three different purchasing decisions

Establish what qualifies as a delivered lead, whether the contact is shared and what replacement terms apply. Account for the separate work needed to review, follow up and arrange a conversation.

Connect the people and the process

Commissioning campaign management

Confirm what the provider manages after someone responds. Advertising management may leave qualification, CRM updates and appointment ownership with the agent or team.

Commissioning managed acquisition

Define the connected work from campaign response to qualification, follow-up and appointment handoff. Agree the responsibilities, supported systems and exceptions before launch.

Put the quote on one page

Ask each provider to explain these lines for the same service brief and reporting period. An item included in one quote may be a separate charge in another.

Keep one-time charges visible. If you spread a setup cost across several months for planning, show the period and method. Do not compare that blended figure with another provider’s recurring fee alone.

Use the numbers to make a specific decision

Set the objective, market, qualification brief and agent responsibilities before comparing proposals.

Give every inquiry an owner

Agree what is included

Match spend and outcomes

Use the same reporting group. Keep recent inquiries with pending follow-up separate from older inquiries whose outcomes are known.

Separate the stages

Distinguish a valid inquiry, a qualified prospect, a scheduled appointment and a held conversation.

Investigate the weak stage

Check whether the issue is acquisition cost, qualification, follow-up, calendar availability or attendance before raising the budget.

Viremix agrees the campaign brief, media budget, qualification rules, supported integrations and handoff responsibilities during onboarding. Media spend is separate from the Viremix engagement. Review the available plans and confirm the complete scope for your market.

When comparing providers, use the agency selection guide and planning brief to review scope, evidence, fees, and account access. Frequently Asked Questions

How much should a real estate agent budget for lead generation?

Start with the campaign objective, service area, property focus, proposed management scope and capacity to handle inquiries. Ask for a media budget and service fee separately. A national average is not a quote for your market or a promise of appointments.

Is advertising spend included in the Viremix service fee?

No. Media spend is separate from the Viremix engagement. The budget, campaign coverage and responsibilities are discussed before launch.

What is the difference between cost per lead and cost per appointment?

Cost per lead divides the defined acquisition cost by the inquiries counted. Cost per appointment divides the defined cost by the appointment outcome you select. Specify whether that means scheduled or held appointments, and whether the cost includes media only or the complete campaign expense.

What if the campaign has no attended appointments yet?

Cost per attended appointment is undefined when there are no attended appointments. Keep the spend and pending inquiries visible. Do not present a zero cost or assume an appointment count that has not happened.

Can I compare providers using cost per lead alone?

First compare the lead definition, sharing terms, qualification criteria, services included and reporting period. Then review the subsequent appointment and outcome data that each system can verify.
